Baila, baila, bailame (P366D12)

Thanks to the beauty of Internet Radio, specifically (today) last.fm (www.last.fm), I was able to jack into the Ethernet and zone out (while working, of course) to some great Spanish guitar and rumba/flamenco-inspired music.  Most of it is instrumental, which is great while banging away on the keyboard, but some of them tunes have singing.  I discovered many artists I’d never heard before and got to listen to some great, well-established standards in this genre, like the Gipsy Kings and Paco de Lucía.

One of my new discoveries during my Spanish afternoon Johannes Linstead.  Here’s his “Hour of the Lamps” from his album ‘Mediterranea.’  (sorry, no video, just a shot of the album cover)
